Hair Transplant Treatment

Hair Transplant

Hair transplant treatment has become an increasing trend day by day, as many people at a young age are insecure because of hair loss & are looking older than their age.

Due to the stressful environment and unhealthy diet in this hard & fast life, these hair loss issues are increasing day by day.

Hair Transplant Treatment

Regrowing your hair just like you had before is next to impossible.

Therefore, going for hair transplant treatment is the best option.

A hair transplant surgery is an operation in which hair is shifted to a bald region of the head by a plastic or dermatological surgeon. The surgeon normally pushes hair to the front or top of the head from the back or side of the head.

Hair Transplant

Benefits of Hair Transplant

  • A surgical procedure used to treat baldness or hair loss. Typically, tiny patches on the scalp are removed from the back and sides of the head and implanted in the bald spots in the front and top of the head.
  • Hair transplant is an advanced technology, the efficiency of the hair transplant treatment has become more time-saving and easier.
  • It takes only a few hours in the surgery depending on the size of the transplant you're getting done
  • There are generally no side effects and rarely any instructions are needed to be followed thereafter.
If you choose this surgery, you will not need any additional growth treatments in the future, and the danger of allergies will be minimal because you will be your own donor. In comparison to the artificial way of hair restoration, this procedure is viable, cost-effective, and safe.

Treatment Methods of Hair Loss

MidasTouch provides 2 hair transplant treatments in Ahmedabad.

1. Follicular-unit-transplantation or 'FUT'
Follicular Unit Transplantation or ‘FUT’ is the one where a strip of skin from the back of the scalp is removed and then further divided into smaller follicular units which are then planted on the bald patches of the scalp. The back of the scalp is then sutured by the surgeon.

2. Follicular-unit-extraction or 'FUE'

  • Follicular Unit Extraction or ‘FUE' is a procedure where the hair follicles are individually extracted.
  • The surgeon will select hair follicles, one by one and separate the follicular units by making a circular incision with a punch.
  • The advantage of FUE is that it leaves no linear scar and is reasonably pain-free and has a very rapid recovery.
  • Professional sportsmen generally have this as it allows them to quickly return to their training regime.

Faqs

Heading Line
Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that removes hair follicles from one part of the body, called the 'donor site', to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. The technique is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness.
Yes. During surgery, our physicians use your healthy hair follicles to fill in your thinning or balding areas. These transplanted hairs are resistant to the hormone that causes hair loss — dihydrotestosterone (DHT) — and are considered permanent.
Hair transplants are typically more successful than over-the-counter hair restoration products. But there are some factors to consider: Anywhere from 10 to 80 per cent of the transplanted hair will fully grow back in an estimated three to four months. Like regular hair, the transplanted hair will thin over time.
While the procedure is extremely convenient, it is a surgical procedure nevertheless and consequently, some discomfort can be expected. Before the procedure takes place, the patient will receive a local anaesthetic, and they may feel a slight pricking sensation (like the tip of a pen on the scalp).
Hair transplants can look completely natural — as long as you go to the right surgeon. Hair transplant candidates may be concerned about the conspicuousness of their results, but with a talented and qualified surgeon, your scalp will not look like a doll's head.
Body and beard hair can be used as additional donor resource for treating androgenic alopecia. These hairs, however, do not change their colour, curl, and shaft diameter (calibre). Thus, proper planning is a must when using the different types of donor’s hair for transplanting.

The hair fall does not mean that the hair transplant has failed. The follicles themselves are still healthy and will produce new hair when they enter the active growth (anagen) phase. Besides, the original non-transplanted hair can also shed from the recipient area.
